A Kraków-based film studio run by Aneta Zagorska (producer) and Marek Gajczak (DoP). Their collaboration began with the production of the feature‑length psychological thriller The Underneath, directed by Gajczak. The two have mainly worked as a production service, e.g. they were the executive producers of Bartoszewski. The Way, a documentary about one of the most important figures in Poland, All Matthew’s Women, a narrative feature directed by Artur Więcek, and Reflections, a short from the Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series, directed by Adam Randall. Barton Film also produces advertisements, e.g. for the Kraków National Theater, the City of Kraków, and the Kraków National Museum. The studio works with foreign producers, and provides comprehensive organisational services and production support. Barton Film also works on its own projects. The studio has made an 8‑part documentary about the history of Polish rock in 2013 and two more documentaries: Jarocin, Rock for Freedom, directed by Marek Gajczak and Leszek Gnoiński; and Viatoris. Between East and West, directed by Marek Gajczak and Iwona Meus‑Jargusz.
