Film IT production company, owned by Dariusz Pietrykowski and Andrzej Połeć, was founded in 2002. Its main activity consists of TV advertisement and feature film production. Projects realized by Film It have received six awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia (including Special Jury Award and Award for best leading actor for Marian Dziędziel), seven Polish Film Awards – Eagles, Award for screenplay at the Warszawa Film Festival and Złoty Granat Award at the Festival of Comic Films in Lubomierz. The company has participated in several other productions which were later awarded at many international film festivals, e.g. in Locarno, Karlove Vary, Mar del Plata, Moscow, Pusan, Goteborg, Cottbus, Festroya. Also commercials produced by Film IT have received recognition at various festivals, e.g. in 2008 Orange Mandala was awarded with a brown medal by the Club of Commercial Creators, in 2002 Ikea Search won The Golden Drumstick and also the same year “Ikea Hairdresser” received The Golden Watch. Redd’s Beer “Zielony”, “Żółty”, “Czerwony” and “Ikea Kuchnie”, both won a brown medal at the EFFIE Awards in 2007. The latest production of Film IT, “Dom zły”, was invited to participate in the main competition at the Film Festival in Tokyo and in the main competition of this year’s Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Film It has provided production services in Poland for Yash Raj Films’ Bollywood for one of the largest Bollywood productions “Fanaa” directed by Kunal Kohli featuring Indian cinema stars such as Aamir Khan and Kajol. The company was also responsible for distribution of the first Polish-American comedy “Mała Wielka Miłość” directed by Łukasz Karwowski (executive producer – Grupa Filmowa). Film It has produced commercials for many major companies, such as Coca-Cola, Bank Millennium, Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline, Pharmaceuticals S.A., Heineken, Ikea, PTK Centertel, Polkomtel, PKN Orlen, PZU Życie, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, Telekomunikacja Polska, Grupa Żywiec.
