Astra Film is a company that specializes in documentary films production, often co-operates with TVP (Polish Public Television). In Astra Film portfolio there are documentaries : "Grać do góry nogami" (1997) - describing Polish actors who emigrated to Australia and a biographical film: "Marzenia o wolności i równości. Profesor Jerzy Zubrzycki" (1996) about a well known sociologist who emigrated to Australia, and for 31 years has been working at one of the universities in Australia, conducting a research on a multicultural society of this country.

Moreover Astra Film produced a film dedicated to a world famous anthropologist, pioneer in the research on a primitive tribes - Bronisław Malinowski; the film was titled "Szlachetny dzikus" (1998). In the 1999 company produced Polish version of an Australia documentary "Solarmax", designed for the IMAX system. The film showed a history of research on the Sun.

Recently Astra Film produces films under the management of Jerzy Domaradzki - "Co ja tutaj robię..." (2006), "Kochać czy nienawidzić" (2008) and "Klub Hipochondryków" (2009).
