 In November 2010, in Katowice the first International Film Festival REGIOFUN will take place. REGIOFUN is a film festival which contains a competition section and is dedicated to films created with the support from the regional funds or other forms of financial support from various regional public resources.
The aim of the festival is to expose the contribution of Regional Film Funds in film production nowadays and to present the variety and wide range of the supported films. Also the Festival will be a platform for meetings and presentations of film achievements and experience of Regional Film Funds, mostly from Europe. REGIOFUN organizes three film competitions in the following categories: a) feature film, The films will be evaluated by the international jury. The statutory prizes in each category have been determined as follows: I prize – € 5,000, II prize – € 3,500, III prize – € 2,000. REGIOFUN will be held from 17th to 21st November in Katowice, the entry deadline is 16th July 2010 (no entry fee). Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA) is a partner of the project and would like to invite you to the participation in the International Film Festival REGIOFUN.
